Hello there! Welcome to our latest update. We're excited to unveil the all-new Price Change Analysis widget—your ultimate tool for visualizing pricing strategies and their impacts. Additionally, our revamped Dynamic Pricing Tool now lets you review and manage price suggestions efficiently. Let's dive in and explore these powerful features!
Analytical Widget for Price Change Analysis
The new Price Change Analysis widget provides a comprehensive view of how various pricing rules and strategies affect final pricing. Visually track price adjustments using increment steps such as market value modifications, safeguards, and rounding rules, all while observing the impact of these decisions along with percentage changes compared to the current price.
This widget highlights pricing constraints like safeguard limits and rounding rules and allows comparison between different pricing strategies, showcasing options like revenue-, profit-, or volume-optimal pricing. Interactive elements let you hover over price changes for detailed insights. The widget also supports toggling between pricing strategies, helping you evaluate the best approach for your objectives.
Approving Price Suggestions in Dynamic Pricing Tool
The Dynamic Pricing Tool now includes a feature that allows you to review and manage price suggestions effectively before publishing. All suggested prices appear in a tabular format where each suggestion has a default status of "Approved." You have the capability to individually approve or reject these suggestions or opt for a bulk action to approve or reject all at once.
Additional controls such as "Publish," "Save for Review," and "Save as Draft" are accessible at all times, but these buttons are only active when at least one price suggestion has been approved. If all suggestions are rejected, these actions remain disabled. Once approved, prices can be published or saved for further review, while rejected prices stay archived for future reassessment.
Enhanced Price Simulation Control
Enhanced Price Simulation Control gives you the ability to manage your price simulations with greater precision when creating pricing strategies. You can now independently initiate price calculations without being subject to automatic processes that could lead to unnecessary waits. This change empowers you to manually trigger simulations, ensuring that the suggested prices align with your strategic expectations before making them final.
An added column, 'Price Suggestion,' has been introduced in the Pricing Rules tab. This column displays the status of any price suggestion as empty before calculation, pending during the process, and shows the suggested price once the calculation is complete. The inclusion of a 'Calculate Prices' button means you can manually initiate the process, eliminating the automatic calculations previously in place, giving you complete control over when and how your prices are calculated.
Feature Visibility for Account Admins
Account Admins can now configure the visibility of specific features within the platform, giving you control over which functionalities are accessible to users.
The newly renamed "Account Settings" section includes a "Features" tab, where you can view a list of features, each accompanied by a short description and a toggle switch to enable or disable them. Only users with Admin privileges can access and modify the settings in the "Features" tab, ensuring non-admin users cannot view or change feature availability.
When a feature is disabled, it becomes inaccessible to all users in the account, and changes are applied immediately or upon refresh. A confirmation prompt will appear when you toggle a feature ON or OFF, providing a seamless management experience.
Split of Pricing Actions into Distinct Rules
The "Pricing Action" feature now separates pricing actions into two distinct rules to enhance configuration clarity and efficiency. Previously combined under a single method, users can now choose between:
Set to Dynamic Internal Value - This rule allows you to select a dynamic field from predefined internal values to set the internal price.
Set AI Optimal Price - This rule enables setting a price optimized for revenue, profit, or sales volume through AI-driven strategies.
Each rule comes with its own operator options tailored to its specific method, reflected in clearer dropdown labels. The interface now differentiates "Select a Dynamic Field" for internal values and "Select Optimization Strategy" for AI optimization. This separation simplifies your pricing logic setup and enhances the workflow experience.
