How to Apply Filters

Follow these steps to refine your product data:

Step 1: Open the Filter Menu

  1. Click on the “Add filter +” button at the top of the products view dashboard.

  2. A dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select the filtering criteria.

Step 2: Select a Field to Filter By

  1. Click on the "Field" dropdown to choose a filter category.

  2. Available filter fields include:

    • Product name

    • Brand

    • Manufacturer

    • SKU

    • Product ID

    • Tags

    • Product type

    • EAN (European Article Number)

Step 3: Choose an Operator

After selecting the field, define how you want to filter the data using operators. Click on the "Operator" dropdown and choose from options like:

  • Contains (Finds products that include the specified value)

  • Does not contain (Excludes products with the specified value)

  • Is (Finds exact matches)

  • Is not (Excludes exact matches)

  • Starts with (Filters products that start with the entered value)

  • Ends with (Filters products that end with the entered value)

  • Has no value (Finds products where the field is empty)

  • Has any value (Finds products where the field is not empty)

Step 4: Enter a Value

  1. Click on the "Value" field and enter the keyword, brand name, or other relevant text to filter the products.

  2. As you type, suggested values may appear for selection.

Step 5: Add Multiple Filters (Optional)

  • Click "+ Add filter" to apply additional filters.

  • You can combine filters using “OR” or “AND” conditions to refine your results further.

Step 6: Apply the Filter

  • Once the desired filters are set, click “Apply” to update the product list.

  • The filtered results will now be displayed.


Managing Filters

  • Remove a Filter: Click the ❌ icon next to a filter.

  • Clear All Filters: Click “Clear all filters” to reset the view.


Best Practices

  • Use “contains” for broader searches when looking for products with similar keywords.

  • Use “is” for exact matches to get specific product results.

  • Combine multiple filters to refine search results further (e.g., filtering by Brand AND Product Name).

  • Use “Previous Filters” to quickly reapply common filtering criteria.
