Once you've tested your pricing strategy using the Price Simulator, the next logical step is to turn the winning scenario into an actionable pricing strategy. This guide walks you through how to do just that.
✅ Step-by-Step: Create a Price Change Strategy
1. Run Your Simulation
Before creating a pricing strategy:
Go to the Price Simulator.
Add and configure your simulation scenarios.
Run the simulation and compare Gross Profit, Sales, and Volume across scenarios.
Choose the best-performing scenario to base your strategy on.
💡 Tip: You can test different methods like Manual Adjust, Optimize for Profit, or Optimize for Revenue.
2. Click the Strategy Icon
In the chosen scenario row, click the “+↻” (Create Strategy) icon in the Actions column.
A modal will pop up with the message:
“Strategy will be based on scenario: Scenario X”
What kind of strategy do you want to create?
3. Choose Strategy Type
Select "Price change" from the dropdown.
Then click Create.
This will launch the Pricing Strategy Editor pre-filled with the products and pricing from the simulation.
4. Review & Adjust Strategy Details
Inside the Pricing Strategy Editor, you’ll find tabs:
Pricing actions
Schedule
Strategy zones

Safeguards
In the Pricing actions tab:
Products from the scenario are listed.
Review or adjust New Price, Margin, Forecasts, and Competitor Prices.
You can update prices in bulk or individually.
✅ Each product shows:
New & Current Prices
New Margins
Profit, Revenue, and Volume Forecasts
Competitor price ranges
5. Schedule & Save Strategy
Set up when and how this strategy will be applied using the Schedule tab.
Add rounding or safeguards as needed.
Click Save as Draft or Create pricing strategy when ready.
